Clan Netball

Kat Ratnapala from Storm got in touch as she had an idea to help Clan get some new sponsorship and when the chance to get some new and branded Netballs for the squad presented itself pre-season - it was too good an opportunity to miss.

The team have got off to a strong start this season under the guidance of Jade and someone called Katt Garner who I think might be one to watch in the future!

Clan, who compete in Prem 2, have also added another of my ex Surrey Storm faves Danni Wates to the team this season which is another bonus as the squad builds on their previous promotion from Regional league to Prem 3 and then 2014-2015 season then to Prem 2.

The squad is a mixture of youth & experience and is the highest performance club currently within South Bucks and it also includes new Storm signing Frankie Wells, and strong signings throughout the league.

Clan Netball Club’s Head of Performance Kathryn Ratnapala remarked "we are really grateful for all of Andy’s help & support this season. Providing the squad with bespoke netballs is a very generous contribution and we hope we can do him proud on the netball court this season."

I am obviously chuffed about being thrown around a court - for those that know me it beats actually playing the game!. When Kat suggested the idea to provide Clan with their first specially designed Netballs it was quirky enough to appeal. I have no doubt how good they'll look on court and can't wait to see the pics. Good luck to everyone this season.
