The Netball Show with Viper 10 has made their review of the year – big things to come in 2018

What a fantastic year 2017 has been for the Viper 10 team. It seems only right that we take a moment to reflect on the brand’s achievements before we close for the year and get into the festive spirit!

The Viper 10 team spent much of January planning behind the scenes for our brand relaunch which involved significant investment and energy into product development, athlete signings, website building and planning for the year ahead.

In February we met with our new Viper 10 Athletes including International Netballers Geva Mentor and Chelsea Pitman alongside the Premiership’s top try-scorer Tom Varndell for an action-packed photo and video shoot day which included a very early start on an icy winter’s morning on Bournemouth Beach.

March saw the huge launch of our new website which included a mobile-friendly 3D Kit Designer, new products in our online shop and the release of our new video campaigns. The excellent feedback received from our loyal Viper 10 customers and the huge increase in traffic to the website was a real pat on the back for the digital team behind the brand.

In April we announced a new partnership with English Universities Sport which was quickly followed with the announcement that we had been chosen as the new official kit partner of Netball Scotland.

May saw Viper 10 as the headline sponsors of the World’s Largest Sport and Music Festival, the award-winning Bournemouth 7s. The event is always such a highlight of the calendar for the Viper 10 team as we see over 200 teams wearing our kit in the same place!

In June our attention quickly focused on the launch of the Netball World Youth Cup dress for Netball Scotland which was voted as the best kit of the tournament.

July saw us launch a local partnership with Bournemouth Rugby in celebration of their 125th year anniversary and a combined mission to ‘paint the town red’.

The pace cranked up another notch in August when we launched a new range of clothing for Staffordshire University sports teams alongside the big announcement that Team Bath Netball had chosen Viper 10 as their official kit supplier for the 2018 Vitality Netball Superleague season.

Rugby for Heroes was our focus in September as we secured a partnership which would see Viper 10 supporting the charity for the 2017/2018 season. September was also a big month for year 2 of our partnership with Bournemouth University delivering kit to over 500 freshers!

In October we were back behind the camera with a Team Bath Netball photoshoot and a chance to catch our breath before we entered the Black Friday month of November where we achieved record-breaking sales on our Online Shop. Our partners UWS Sirens Superleague Team announced their squad for the 2018 season whilst we worked behind the scenes to design their new 2018 season match kit.

Lastly, in December we proudly launched our new 4-year partnership renewal with Scottish Student Sport which included unveiling their new sportswear range and also teamed up with the Netball Show.

It is amazing to look back at what has been achieved this year by a fantastic team of staff all based at our headquarters in sunny Bournemouth.

We would like to take this opportunity to wish our Viper 10 Family a very Merry Christmas!
