Lindsay Johnson

Lindsay has had the honour of representing England at full international level and is currently at Everton Ladies FC where she has been an essential part of the set up for 12 years.

The 2014/2015 season in the FAWSL saw Everton be the first club relegated from the top tier of the Women's professional league - Rachel Brown-Finnis retired and Jody Handley moved to Donny Bells leaving Lindsay as one of the most established members of the squad. The challenge to get back into the top tier of the women's league didnt go to plan as Everton finished 3rd meaning another season in FAWSL 2

Ahead of the last game in 15/16 season Lindsay announced her retirement and it was a pleasure to sponsor her during her last season in the top tier of the game

Following Lindsay's appearance on Tees she was called up to be a pundit on BBC TV's coverage for the Womens World Cup - I would like to think that it was largely down to me but no doubt someone else will get credit for the idea as usual with that place :p

I have spoken to Lindsay on the relegation news at the time in an incredibly honest interview

We spoke ahead of the cup win against Bristol

and following the news of her retirement under a year later
